In a panoramic position over Orvieto, at 10 minutes only from the city centre, the agritourism La Chiusetta receives its guests in a familiar environment, where they can enjoy a peaceful holiday away from the stress of city life.
Accommodation is offered in bedrooms and apartments, located in three different farmhouses, surrounded by Umbria countryside, within a 13 hectar organic farm, where DOC red wine and extra-virgin olive oil are produced.
Among green areas, comfortable arbors, a small lake and a panoramic swimming-pool, guests can spend a peaceful holiday, out of the rhythm of everyday working life, and enjoy healthy and genuine food, prepared with the products of the farm according to local traditional recipes.
You can also enjoy nature in the simplest way, walking, swimming, playing bowls or taking part to the farm activities, such as olive and grape harvest, thus discovering the old farmer’s work, often unknown or forgotten by people living in big towns.

We offer a range of traditional dishes, prepared with the genuine products of our farm. Fresh products, home-made dishes, pasta, seasonal vegetables, sauces made with our tomato puree, meat, home-made pastries, wine and olive-oil produced in our farm.
The breakfast buffet, served outside during the summer, underneath the grape arbor, displays fruit-juices, coffee, milk, tea, barley coffee, yogurt, cereals, cornflakes, muesli, home-made cakes, biscuits, jams, two kinds of bread. English breakfast available on request.
Reservation is always required for main meals. We offer three different menus to meet your needs.
Our typical dishes are: Pappardelle al cinghiale o alla lepre (long pasta with boar or hare sauce), Maltagliati al sugo di palomba (medium pasta with fowl sauce) , Lasagna al ragù (lasagna with bolognese sauce), Spaghetti Carbonara (spaghetti with eggs and bacon), Faraona ai funghi (guinea-fowl with mushrooms), Cinghiale con polenta (wild-boar meat with cornmeal mush), Grigliata di maiale (pork mixed grill) and a lot more.
